First luxury district inaugurated in Chile

Louis Vuitton, Emporio Armani, and Salvatore Ferragamo among brands to open their doors in Parque Arauco Kennedy.

The city of Santiago has the first luxury district in Chile. Parque Arauco, a leading Latin American shopping mall developer and operator with presence in Chile, Peru, and Colombia, has inaugurated a “Luxury District” in their flagship mall, Parque Arauco Kennedy Santiago.

The Luxury District houses high-end brands like Louis Vuitton, Emporio Armani, Salvatore Ferragamo, Omega, CH Carolina Herrera, Ermenegildo Zegna, Dolce & Gabbana, Montblanc, and Burberry. “By incorporating the Luxury District into our commercial offer, we are responding to the needs of yet another type of consumer, one with a specific taste and very high standard,” said Parque Arauco Chairman Jose Said.

This new space gives customers an attractive and comfortable atmosphere to shop, with long operating hours and a VIP parking area. Located on the third floor of Parque Arauco Kennedy’s open air Boulevard, the Luxury District was designed with a 7 m (23 ft.) wide walkway to give customers the sensation of walking down a street.

This commercial mix adds to and complements the range of shops and brands already present in Parque Arauco Kennedy, making it the most complete and comprehensive commercial center in the country. The project added 7,200 m2 (23,600 sq. ft.) to the mall, giving it a total Gross Leasable Area of 115,200 m2 (377, 950 sq. ft.), and total investment was U.S. $25 million.
