Fendi inaugurates new palace in Florence

Fendi luxury house
(launched in 1925 by Edoardo and Adele Fendi) inaugurated a new
store in the Tuscan city of Florence. The fashion house’s latest location is on the popular via Tonabuoni, spanning nearly 200 square meters covering both floors of a 15th-century palace.

The upper level of the store has an installation-sculpture by Jacopo Foggini and a curved staircaise designed by French architect Gwenael Nicolas.

Fendi celebrated the new opening with the creation of exclusive limited edition collection focused on fur, a material that has long been emblematic of Florentine savoir-faire. The Peekaboo it bag – revisited in mink – is available exclusively at the
new store.

Paralel to the Florence innauguration, Fendi announced the opening of its second mono- brand kids store dedicated exclusively to the Kids and Junior lines. The new FENDI Kids Boutique is located in the Villaggio Mall in Doha, Qatar.
