F1 Driving Simulator: a replica of a real F1 car – but cannot move

Indistinguishable from the real thing, these simulators replicate the cutting edge of design and technology that F1 is renowned for. Dubbed one of the most realistic simulators on the market, FMCG International F1 Driving Simulator has three 23 inch screens, a speaker tower, custom high end digital PC with Intel Core i7 processor, real F1 tyres and a replica cockpit. The engineers will even come and set it up for you and to teach you how to improve your driving technique. The large screens create a precise driving experience and drivers can choose from all the current F1 teams. FMCG have adapted a real F1 car with realistic force feedback through the steering wheel, simulating the loading effect whilst cornering, braking and acceleration.

‘Drivers are fully absorbed into the virtual environment created from sitting in our simulator. The large screens create a precise driving experience and drivers can choose from all the current F1 teams,” Simon Harvey, Group Chief Executive of FMCG International told dailymail.

“They have the added bonus of looking great and allowing the more professional driver to hone their skills and improve their driving technique. This is all possible without the need to leave the comfort of their own home.”

The £90,000 F1 Driving Simulator is fitted with Pirelli F1 tyres plus AP Racing or Brembo brake callipers.

The FMCG International, a company that has been making driving simulators since 1986, provides also F1 Pit Stop Challenges, F1 Show Car Hire and sales, Formula One Scalextric, and Formula 1 Memorabilia.
