DSquared² to launch junior line for Spring 2014

The multitalented brothers at the center of luxury fashion brand DSquared² will launch a new line of children’s clothing for Spring 2014. The Canadian red maple leaf and the twins’ signature touches are expected to be found on the kids’ clothes.

“Our customers have grown with us and we have accompanied many of them to the altar. Now their children are also in need of cool and fun outfits,” said the brothers, “with this junior line, we are finally…creating a total look for the entire family,” according to WWD.

Celebrities wearing DSquared² designs have included 50 Cent, Bill Kaulitz, Lenny Kravitz, Karl Lagerfeld, Justin Timberlake, Ricky Martin, Rihanna, Christina Aguilera, Fergie, Britney Spears and Madonna. The Catens were awarded the 2003 GQ Men of the Year Breakout Design Award. In 2006, they received the Golden Needle Award, joining past prestigious winners such as Oscar de la Renta, Gianni Versace, Manolo Blahnik, Jean Paul Gaultier, John Galliano, and Tom Ford. In 2009 the duo would received a star on Canada’s Walk of Fame in Toronto.
