On August 23rd 2014 American actress Angelina Jolie chose to wear an Atelier Versace creation designed by Italian designer Donatella Versace in occasion of her marriage to Brad Pitt.
For the special occasion, Donatella Versace envisioned for Angelina Jolie a one of a kind custom-made Atelier Versace look: “she was perfect” in a white silk-satin Atelier Versace gown gathered at the bust with elongated train, detailed with the embroidered drawings of her children that got reproduced also on the silk veil.
“Congratulations Angelina Jolie! You look sensational in my creation for your special day! Lots of love, DV,” said a tweet from Donatella Versace. The Atelier Versace’s custom couture gown worn by the 39-year-old bride was accessorized with white satin Versace pumps.
Angelina Jolie’s recent wedding to Brad Pitt took place on August 23 in the private chapel at the Chateau Miraval, the French wine estate and home of the couple. English actress Elizabeth Hurley and Sting’s wife Trudie Styler also chose to wed in Versace.
