Christofle’s sterling silver flatware responded to the decreased pricing of raw silver

Renowned French luxury lifestyle brand announces pricing adjustment.

Recognizing the reduced cost of sterling raw materials, Christofle, a brand long known as a symbol of luxury and refinement, announces revised pricing for its celebrated sterling silver flatware. Recognizing the reduced cost of sterling raw materials, the high-end brand continues its mandate to provide iconic silver products of unmatched quality, while also evolving to keep in step with modern market trends.

“To both inspire and maintain customers, while also fully encouraging one to enjoy silver, we have responded to the decreased pricing of raw silver and look forward to continuing our commitment to providing exceptional products, value and services to our clients.”

“Fluctuations in the commodities market cannot be ignored in our business,” said Nicolas Krafft, CEO of Christofle Americas. “To both inspire and maintain customers, while also fully encouraging one to enjoy silver, we have responded to the decreased pricing of raw silver and look forward to continuing our commitment to providing exceptional products, value and services to our clients.”

New prices from Christofle will take effect for flatware collections this month, reflecting a significant savings on all individual flatware pieces. The greatest price advantage will be seen through the purchase of flatware services, which will also be offered at a new retail value. This includes Malmaison; a five-piece set, which retailed for $1,995, will now sell for $1,550 while a 144-piece set of flatware, which retailed for $58,300, will now sell for $34,025.

For nearly two centuries Christofle has been renowned for its expertly crafted signature flatware, hollowware and bespoke silver items. Although the silver company enjoys a celebrated legacy it continues to offer a variety of styles to meet the needs of today’s customers.
