Celine’s new boutique at Avenue Montaigne Paris

Celine unveils a new boutique at Avenue Montaigne.

Céline opened the doors of its new boutique located at 53, Avenue Montaigne in the 8th district of Paris – a very airy space to delight in the new collections of the brand’s understated luxury style. An elegant blend of wood, marble and metal creates a privileged setting for the ready-to- wear, leather goods and accessories collections created by Phoebe Philo.

The store occupying 500 sqm on two floors reinforces a network of distribution which already includes a left bank boutique on rue de Grenelle and another one on right bank on avenue Victor Hugo.

The Avenue Montaigne is considered to be la grande dame of French streets for high fashion and accessories, and is now considered more important than rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré. Several established clothing designers set up here, particularly the LVMH (Moët Hennessey Louis Vuitton) group. LVMH brought investment and international attention to the street, and its stable of top designers and firms, such as Céline, Loewe, Vuitton, Inès de la Fressange and formerly Christian Lacroix, own a substantial portfolio of the street’s luxury real estate.

Celine’s decor of the place is in line with the aesthetic characteristic of the House. Danish artist FOS created a bespoke series of furniture pieces including lamps, benches and chandeliers, a visual signature already present in the London boutique that opened its doors Mount Street in March.
