Once in a lifetime tasting of the legendary Pétrus, spanning 1945-2007

Passionate wine enthusiasts will have an opportunity to experience a truly one-of-a-kind event on June 22nd and 23rd when Société du Vin, the exclusive members-only wine facility located in Bridgehampton, NY, hosts an ultra-exclusive, two-day tasting of the legendary Pétrus in Bridgehampton, NY. The event, which has been tabbed the “Pétrus Retrospective”, will be led by internationally-recognized wine critic James Suckling and will consist of two separate tasting sessions. Participants will have an opportunity to sample 57 historically significant post WWII vintages.

The Remarkable 57 Vintage Pétrus rare tasting event will feature a legendary collection from one of the most celebrated winemaking properties in the world. Renowned for its Bordeaux wine, the Pétrus estate in Pomerol produces extremely limited red wine quantities, composed almost entirely from Merlot grapes. The area’s unique combination of soil, exposure and mature vines coupled with a strict selection process has helped Pétrus produce some of the world’s most acclaimed wines.

The two-day event will be hosted by Société du Vin, a new, exclusive members-only wine facility located in Bridgehampton, NY that provides personal wine collection storage and features a state-of-the-art tasting lounge designed by acclaimed Hollywood set director, Elvis Restaino.

All proceeds from the event are designated for the Southampton Animal Shelter, the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons and The Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center.
